What is SymposiumSA?
The objective of SymposiumSA is to encourage and stimulate quality research activities in the fields of accounting, finance and regulation within South Australia. Each year, a themed symposium is held to bring together academics and interested professionals to network and discuss research work. Through its sponsors and supporters, a number of international and inter-state Invited Guests are invited to present at each Symposium. Registration is free to all staff and research students at South Australian universities, although guaranteed places will only be given to sponsoring universities.
2010 Symposium - promoting quality doctoral research - 22nd July 2010
On July 22nd 2010 the Symposium will be held at the University of
South Australia in the Bradley Forum in the
Hawke Building,
City West Campus.
The theme of the conference is on promoting quality doctoral research in the
fields of accounting, finance and regulation. PhD students have an
opportunity to present their work and have it assessed and discussed by a
panel of leading academics and international guest speakers. The symposium
will feature a panel session providing expert opinion on what new and future
research directions will likely emerge in the near and long term.
